“Live it, Love it” Tigo Ghana‘s new tagline for a digital lifestyle

“From Express Yourself to Smile you’ve Tigo, a lot has taken place in Tigo’s business. We have completely change product portfolios, we introduced new products for today’s digital savvy customer and have sanitized and simplified all our products and services,” these were the words of the Chief Executive Officer of Tigo Ghana, Rosho Motman, to an auditorium filled with industry players, loyal customers and government officials during the official launch of Tigo Ghana new data experience held at the plush La Beach Hotel in Accra.
Ms Motman, flanked by members of her management team on stage, also unveiled Tigo’s new tagline “Live it, Love it”. According to her the new tagline is not just an advertising slogan, but a new approach and a new direction for the Tigo brand. “The tagline reflects our ambition to improve internet penetration in the country and to make the internet and all the amazing features it comes with a way of life for Ghanaians," she said.
As Ghana's first mobile network operator, Tigo Ghana says it remains committed staying on cutting edge of technology and empowering individual customers and local businesses to pursue the digital lifestyle agenda, a lifestyle driven by mobile and digital technology.
Commenting on what she described as a remarkable transformational journey embarked on by Tigo to become the brand of choice for digital users in the country during her tenure since April 2014 till date, Motman revealed that together with her team tigo has done a complete overhaul of its business model, focusing on building a business with long term strategy and some quick wins, they have also invest millions of cedis in building a stable and reliable network and that there has been an improvement from 88 to 99 percent of network availability within a year.
“On the customer front we have improved our service level from 11 to 78 percent in 1 year and customers satisfaction has improved from 38 to 64 percent within the same period,” she emphasised.
Being the first network company in Ghana to use social media platform twitter to serve its teeming customers, Tigo Ghana believe that just as the use of internet is a right, the use of social media is also right for all customers hence the promotion of a digital lifestyle with the most complete, innovative and bold offers on the market.
Tigo’s latest introduction TRIBE is one of such offers which allow customers to enjoy freebies immediately on registering on the Tigo Tribe platform.
