Zuri Brand seeks share of Kenya’s smartphone market

Recently launched digital lifestyle devices brand Zuri has stepped up efforts to capture a share of the Kenyan smartphone market with the launch of four smartphone models.

The Hong Kong based brand is riding on the extensive retail network of local IT specialists DESPEC Ltd to maximize its presence in the market including most of the leading mobile phone outlets.

Zuri is banking on high performance, superior value and an efficient after-sales service under the “Zuri Cares” program. Consumers are guaranteed a 12-month warranty on all Zuri products and support from service centres across Kenya.

Vikash Shah, CEO at Zuri, says the C46, C52 and S56 models come with unique and superior specifications such as efficient Android 5.1 platform, powered by multi-core processors – including an octa-core option – dual-sim capabilities, large screen sizes and high quality camera options, all packaged in a stylish exterior.  All Zuri devices support over-the-air firmware updates with consumers benefiting from a free 8GB micro SD card and two essential accessories: screen guard and protective cover.
