Vodafone Ghana has launched its network campaign in Accra with emphasis on its role as the number one network for voice clarity and 3G+ Internet speed in the Ghana. The campaign is based on a report issued by P3 Communications which revealed that Vodafone Ghana is the number one in voice quality and 3G+ internet speed following an independent test commissioned by Vodafone Group in all its markets.
At a well attended event held at the posh Stanbic Heights Urban Grill Restaurant the Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Ghana Mr Haris Broumidis described the findings of the report as a great moment for the Vodafone Ghana team and its teeming subscribers. “Vodafone has been tested in comparison with other operators in the country and has come out on top,” he said.
Mr Broumidis hinted that since its inception in the country, Vodafone Ghana had invested close to US$ 700 million into its system and network to meet international standard and also to conform to the dictates of the Vodafone Group.
“We have expanded our sites from an initial 300 in 2009 to more than 2,000 across the country. These activities have contributed to improving our network, giving our customers value for money and also meeting the communication needs of new and existing Vodafone customers across the country,” he added.
He stressed further that Vodafone Ghana would continue to provide unmatched customer experience and ensure that customers are empowered to become all they want to be based on the platform Vodafone provides.
“With a current presence in all the regions in the country, our emphasis, therefore is on the quality of all experience. The P3 research is an endorsement of our hard work but we don’t want it to end here. It is our responsibility to continue working assiduously in ensuring consistency in network resilience,” he noted.
