Vodafone Ghana CEO interacts with customer on the streets of Accra

The Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone, Ghana Harris Broumadis, has taken time off his busy schedule to visit and interact with customers on the streets of Accra. This forms part of the company’s activities to mark it six years of operations as one of the leading network operators in the country’s telecoms industry.
Adjudged the Chartered Institute Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Telecoms of Year Award for 2015, an award it has graciously won on three occasions including the most recent one, the Vodafone Ghana boss used the occasion to thank loyal customers for their support and patronage to the Vodafone brand and also informed them about the goodies that Vodafone is offering to all customers during last quarter of this year.
Mr Broumadis was joined by his colleagues corporate executives on the Osu Oxford street to share the Vodafone experience with business owners, shop attendants and vendors.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Biztechafrica, Mr. Broumadis noted the loyalty and commitment of customers to the Vodafone brand and stressed that such loyalty on the part of the Ghanaian customer confirms the slogan of Vodafone in all its operations that it gives power to the people.
He mentioned that as part of Vodafone Ghana’s 6th anniversary, his outfit has designed a unique package for its loyal customers across the country to enable them share or be part of the success of the Vodafone brand in Ghana.
‘ We want to say thank you to our customers with the “Yee TwiKɔ.” promotion and this means Vodafone is rewarding over 180,000 loyal customers with exciting cash prizes and airtime daily, weekly and monthly’ he said.
The promotion which has gained momentum in all corners of the country requires a customer to simply ‘Scratch Top-up and Win’ or build points as they recharge, make calls, send SMS, browse the internet or purchase bundles including Vodafone RED and Vodafone X.
Customers can withdraw the cash at any Vodafone Cash agent or Vodafone Retail Shop nationwide, after successfully registering for the mobile money service. Customers can also buy airtime with their prize money.
