TelOne users report slowdown
TelOne customers in Zimbabwe are reported to have suffered internet access problems due to damage to the link to Mozambique.
TelOne said the optical cable linking Zimbabwe to the undersea cables in Maputo had been accidentally cut.
As a result, customers were experiencing erratic internet service.
Its partners, Mozambique Telecommunications Network, were working to restore the service.
In the interim, internet traffic was rerouted via satellite links.
