“Based on this, network operators like Airtel and MTN are collaborating with us to provide quality yet affordable handset for the mobile market in Ghana,” he added.

Pastor Asante noted that  through its innovativeness Tecno Mobile Zone  was the first company to introduced a dual SIM Phone onto the Ghanaian mobile market , later following it with 3 and 4 SIM handset phones hence given the user more convenience and comfort to switch easily to any network of subscribers choice.

He told Biztechafrica that currently, Tecno phones has four customer care and service centres in the four commercial cities in Ghana: Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale. For the other six regions, he pointed out that Tecno Mobile Zone has accredited agents to cater for the needs of their customers there.

He said Tecno Phones believed the award would motivate the company to go to greater lengths to satisfy the needs of the Ghanaian mobile users. Among its next moves will be to introduce  Android smart phones to the market in the following month.
