Rwandan PM asks MTN to improve service
Rwandan Prime Minister Pierre Damien Habumuremyi has urged MTN Rwanda to improve its quality of service.
In a surprise visit to the MTN offices, the Prime Minister raised issues such as dropped calls, and asked MTN to improve service.
The Prime Minister also urged MTN to make calls more affordable so that the population can get access to communication easily.
He gave the assurance that the government is willing to work with telecommunication companies to improve service.
MTN Rwanda CEO Khaled Mikkawi assured that the company was working on improving service delivery.
He noted that MTN Rwanda was the first telecommunication company to operate in Rwanda, with an investment of over USD240 million in infrastructure.
