Roland Agambire

The Chairman of AGAMS Group and CEO of rlg Communications Limited, Roland Agambire, has been honoured for his entrepreneurship achievements.

He has been adjudged “Ghana's Leading Businessman of the Year” by the City People Magazine of Nigeria.

The award was presented at the 16th City People Awards for Excellence in Lagos.

Agambire's award comes barely a month after he had unveiled Ghana’s ambitious USD10 billion ICT Park and a development enclave, intended to create jobs for over 50,000 people.

Receiving the award, Agambire said rlg Communications Limited is determined to make positive impact on the continent, saying “we remain focused to turn Ghana and Africa at large into a acknowledge-society and an active player in the global economy.”
“One thing we in rlg believe in is the youth. I believe the youth are our future and currently we train and employ thousands of young men and women not only in Ghana but in Nigeria and the Gambia, and I believe most of them will be assembling and fixing your rlg phones and devices right here in Nigeria.”
