Phase3 wins Infrastructure Development Icon award
Phase3 Telecom, a leader in fibre optic broadband infrastructure in West Africa, has received an industry recognition award from African Leadership Magazine. The Telecom Infrastructure Development Icon of the Year 2013 Award was presented to Stanley Jegede, CEO of Phase3 Telecom, by Kingsley Okeke, Managing Editor of African Leadership Magazine.
Phase3 Telecom was selected for the award by the African Leadership advisory Board at the recently concluded Africa – America International Business Forum in Atlanta – Georgia, USA.
“This Iconic award is a true reflection of the entire Phase3 Family’s efforts and resulting successes achieved over the past years. I am pleased to see Phase3 Family recognized for its skill sets and expertise. This year, our strategy and focus remain stronger in our commitment to delivering the most robust and reliable Open Access Network in Nigeria and West Africa as a whole,” Jegede said.
Phase3 Telecom was awarded for its contribution to the development of telecom infrastructure in Africa by connecting the West African sub-region through aerial Fibre Optic cables deployed on high voltage power lines, impacting across Nigeria, Benin, and Togo.
