NCA tells telcos to voice complaints

Ghana’s National Communication Authority (NCA) has urged communication services providers to direct complaints or challenges that they have to the Authority for resolution.

Paarock Vanpercy, Director General of NCA, said since the Authority had granted the authorisation and license to the operators, it was only fair that operators go back to the Authority with their challenges for redress.

“Sending your complaints to the radio stations or to the newspapers are not the best, because this will not solve your problems anyway,” Vanpercy told a workshop in Accra.

On the question of sanctions against telcos, he said sanctions were to encourage the operators to provide quality service to the people.
