MTN Zambia has signed a partnership with the University of Zambia to offer scholarships and internship opportunities that could lead to careers with the operator.
MTN human resource manager Vivian Kondolo said the graduate development programme would be offered to high performing students.
"Students with merit or distinctions will be identified and assessed using psychometric studies as well as various forms of assessments, then based on these assessments we'll pick those to begin the graduate development," Kondolo said.
She said MTN would select students with distinction or merit degrees. She said these would be expected to become energetic, creative and self-driven leaders.
Kondolo said MTN would also be offering internships to students who were still studying, in order to expose them to various careers.
