“In terms of the year of the customer, our catch phrase is #WeDey4U. We want to see the world as our customers do. And one of the things you talk of the year of the customer is to put ourselves into the shoes of the customer and really understand what they are experiencing and how we can incorporate that experience into our delivery, that really what the year of the customer means and that’s the starting point,” he revealed.

A key highlight of the ‘Customer centric’ era is the soon to be launched MTN TurboNet router, a plug and play internet router, which comes with high powered external antenna and data SIM, which enables it to deliver fast internet in the company’s 4G locations. TurboNet provides instant high speed internet for up to 32 users at the same time.

The CEO emphasized the importance of achieving technology excellence, saying it was the driving force for achieving the right efficiencies across the spectrum to serve the customer’s needs.
