The award shall take place during twin ceremonies jointly presided by Pr. Overall, 145 students shall receive scholarships during the ceremonies, that is, 100 from ENSP, and 45 from ENSPT. The recipients are those who scored the best performance in both higher institutions of learning during the 2013-2014 academic year.
This scholarship award to students of the National Advanced School of Posts and Telecommunications and the National Advanced School of Engineering falls within the framework of partnership agreements signed by MTN with these higher institutions of learning, whose teachings impact the telecommunications landscape. The award equally confirms MTN’s ambition to promote excellence in the teaching of science and technologies in Cameroon and its willingness to promote local talents.
“We believe that, our partnership with ENSP and ENSPT which embodies our effort and innovation, contributes to enhance the performance of students. At MTN Cameroon, we promote local talents, and have implemented the most successful policy on the nationalization of our senior executives, who, for the most part, are graduates from Cameroonian higher institutions of learning such as ENSP and ENSPT,” says Victor OBEN, General Manager Human Resources and Administration of MTN Cameroon.
