Lesotho now on Street View
Google has announced that Lesotho is now the 50th country on Street View.
Google said in its official blog this week that Lesotho and Hungary had now been added to its Street View coverage. It is also significantly expanding its coverage in other locations around the world.
It noted that Lesotho, an enclave surrounded by South Africa, is the only independent state that sits entirely 1,000m or more above sea level. Users can now explore some of the mountainous imagery captured by our Street View cars, including the winding roads and lakes.
Other sights include the Lesotho Evangelical Church founded by missionaries in 1833, and traditional architecture in Nkesi, Maseru.
