Guinea looks at spectrum management
Equatorial Guinea has staged a seminar on radio spectrum management to consider administration of radio spectrum and its use for ICTs.
The Minister of Transportation, Technology, Posts and Telecommunications, Francisco Mba Olo Bahamonde, said the seminar came at a time in which radio spectrum serves as a support for all telecommunications services.
The country is seeking to grow its ICT access and industries, in line with its Horizon 2020 vision. With the arrival of the ACE undersea cable at the end of this year, Equatorial Guinea expects dramatic growth in broadband use and demand for better telecoms services.
