DR Congo: Schoolap provides online shared lessons to students
Students in the war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will, from now on, have access to online shared lessons during the Covid-19 outbreak, thanks to Schoolap.
The announcement was made on Friday March 27 in Kinshasa, as the bustling DRC capital was preparing to go on lockdown, which has since been postponed.
The content is already accessible to all learners, Schoolap spokesperson Joelle Botamba said, adding that even students living in areas with weak telecommunication coverage should be able to access it, thanks to the Schoolpa-tab content tablet.

Schools in this Central African nation of 80 million people have closed down, in an effort to stop the spread of the killer virus, which seems to be slowly but surely making progress throughout the continent.
