Djezzy sale could take months

Talks on the sale of Algerian telco Djezzy could take months to conclude while price talks continue.

The Algerian government says it is still in talks with Russia’s Vimpelcom group over the state’s proposed acquisition of a 51% stake in Algerian mobile operator Djezzy.

The talks, which have already taken over a year, have not yet reached agreement on a sale price for the operator, according to the Finance Ministry.
