Digify Africa, Facebook brings Digify Pro to Nairobi
Digify Africa in partnership with Facebook has announced the entry of Digify Pro, a digital marketing bootcamp in Nairobi.
Since its launch in 2015, Digify Pro has kick started over 250 careers in South Africa and Nigeria, and now it wants to help create Kenya’s next generation of digital marketing talent.
The 10- week programme offers trainees the chance to learn about everything you need to know about digital marketing, from paid advertising, analytics to strategy.
Trainees will get the opportunity to work on live campaign briefs from some of the top communications agencies and brands that the continent has to offer.
“As a youth-driven network, our purpose is to support young people learning, working and leading Africa’s digital economy. In the past seven years, Digify Africa has trained over 90 000 young people in digital skills,” Digify Africa’s chief operating officerQhakaza Mthembu said.
The training programme consists of weekly live briefs from agencies; workshops; key industry guest speaker sessions and work placements.
Once the programme has been completed, graduates will take part in a work placement in agencies or organisations as either interns or junior staff for a minimum of 3 months.
''With the wide range of skills, knowledge and hands on experience gained through the programme, graduates become great assets to any company they join,'' Mthembu said.
