China looks to closer ties with Ghana
China has congratulated President Mahama on his electoral win, and expressed the hope that cooperation between the two countries will increase.
Hu Jintao, President of the People’s Republic of China, sent a message of congratulations to President John Dramani Mahama on his electoral victory on December 7.
He expressed the hope that under the leadership of President Mahama, Ghana would continuously make greater progress in development.
President Hu said China cherished the traditional friendship between the two countries and is willing to make joint efforts with Ghana to expand exchanges at various levels and deepen mutual beneficial cooperation in all fields.
“We will unceasingly promote China-Ghana friendly and cooperative relations to a new stage and bring more tangible benefits to our two countries and peoples,” he added.
