Castalia to implement goocus pro pilot in Senegal
Japanese IT firm Castalia Co will implement a pilot programme using its smartphone-based learning system in Senegal.
The system, goocus pro, uses smartphones to deliver educational tools and materials to students. From next month, a pilot programme at Institut Supérieur de Management (ISM) in Dakar, Senegal, will launch a goocus pro pilot to support its MBA programme.
Castalia said the agreement, signed this week, would see Castalia providing an environment where MBA students conduct social learning in groups, and studying the MBA educational content stored in goocus pro. The company says it plans to later introduce goocus pro to other graduate and undergraduate courses at ISM, and expand it to other universities in the African region.
