Business workshop looks at broadband funding
A workshop in Lagos this week will discuss investment, funding and challenges in rolling out broadband across Nigeria.
The BbExPro Business Workshop kicks off at the Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, today.
Programme Coordinator Titi Omo-Ettu says the theme of the workshop is ‘Access to Funding as a Critical Requirement of Extending Broadband Internet Access to Nigerians’. The Director of Universal Service Provision Fund, Abdullahi Maikano will address the workshop on ‘Opportunities of and Application of USPF to Expanding Broadband Services’, Dr. Olunifesi Suraj will talk on ‘Mapping Broadband Investment Opportunities in Nigeria’, and Sam Obafemi will lead discussion on ‘Business Processes and Business Performance’.
The closing ceremony on March 7 will be addressed by ICT Minister Omobola Johnson, NCC EVC Eugene Juwah and USPF Director Abdullahi Maikano.
