Airtel rolls out 3.75G in Burkina Faso

Airtel, part of the Bharti Airtel group, has launched 3.75G services in Burkina Faso.

At a gala event, Airtel officially launched its new high speed data services, which will enable customers to benefits from advanced services such as video calling. Some devices will enjoy access speed of up to 42 Mbps, said the telco.

Airtel said it was the first to launch the 3.75 G in the country, together with strategic partner Ericsson. Airtel Burkina Faso Marketing Director Abbas Diallo said 3.75G service would be available initially in Bobo, Koudougou, Ouahigouya, Banfora and Ziniaré, with other cities to follow shortly.
