MTN launches new positioning campaign for enterprise market
MTN Group today unveiled a new Pan-African brand positioning media campaign for MTN Business, its enterprise business unit. The campaign skilfully tells the story of how integrated technology is enabling businesses and stimulating the growth of large and small enterprises across business segments and geographies.
MTN’s campaign seeks to further distinguish the operator’s rapidly evolving, world-class enterprise business unit from its consumer services. Available through multiple channels, including television, print and digital platforms, the campaign also shines the spotlight on how MTN Business customers benefit from MTN’s expansive network on the continent. In addition to a presence in 19 countries across Africa, MTN’s enterprise customers also enjoy a seamless network experience, leveraging off the Group’s undersea cable investments.
Using the story of the coffee bean, the world’s second most traded commodity, after oil, the campaign demonstrates the role of connectivity and integrated technology from MTN Business in the business value chain leading to the delivery of your filled cup of coffee.
"The message is that, whether you're a start-up or a multinational, our solutions can help you run a smarter, more efficient and more profitable business," says Elia Tsouros, Acting Executive for the MTN Group Enterprise Business Unit.
"Whether it's providing farmers with real-time weather data, custom-designing logistics and tracking solutions for transport companies, managing inventory and supply through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or enabling next-level cross-border connectivity through MTN's Global MPLS VPN network, our integrated technology makes the New World of business work."
As part of its offerings to enable businesses on the continent, MTN Business introduced its Global Multiprotocol Label Switching Virtual Private Network (Global MPLS VPN) in September, connecting key network Point-of-Presence in South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Djibouti, Tanzania and the United Kingdom. And recently, MTN Zambia became the latest market to launch MTN Cloud services. The services are aimed at making small and medium enterprises (SMEs), professional services, and the health and micro-finance sectors more efficient. The introduction of MTN Cloud in Zambia comes after a successful launch of the services in Ghana and Nigeria in April and Uganda and Cote d’Ivoire in August. MTN plans to roll out the service to several other markets next year.
Also integral to the new media campaign is a strong digital promotion, available on MTN Business’s website www.mtnbusiness.com. The digital campaign will enable customers to follow and engage with the story online. This will give users an opportunity to gain a better understanding of MTN’s Business offerings for the various market segments. The website also provides full details of products and services, ensuring that customers understand the product benefits.
