Vodafone AppStar Challenge is on

By BiztechAfrica - Aug. 8, 2012, 1:28 p.m.Vodafone is running a mobile app developer’s challenge for developers in several African countries.
Developers in Tanzania, Egypt, South Africa, Lesotho and Qatar have until 7 September to enter the AppStar challenge. Apps must be submitted by 21 September.
Vodafone describes the contest as ‘unique’, in which developers showcase their talent by building, uploading and distributing apps across emerging markets in Africa and the Middle East. Over USD20,000 in prize money will be awarded.
