Vodacom Congo 3G expected next month

Vodacom Congo is expected to launch its 3G service next month.

The telco is currently rolling out 3G infrastructure in the Kinshasa and Lubumbashi areas, and plans to have 350 3G sites installed by the end of this year.

Staff are being trained on the new service; which is expected to be launched ahead of the Francophonie Summit in Kinshasa on 12 – 14 October.
