UTL to get funds injection

By BiztechAfrica - Dec. 17, 2011, 7:45 a.m.Uganda Telecom Limited (UTL) is expected to get a cash injection from LAP Green Network to address critical funding needs.
Libya’s LAP Green Network owns 69% of UTL. The Ugandan operator has suffered funding problems and significant debts that resulted in a disruption of services.
The company aims to improve its infrastructure and introduce additional services to generate sustainable revenue and improve its financial position.
