Use ICT to benefit economy

By BiztechAfrica - July 8, 2012, 8:23 a.m.The Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration has called for ICT to be integrated into efforts to grow skills and develop Ghana’s oil and gas sector.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony at the Ghana Telecom University College (GTUC) in Accra this weekend, Prof Yaw Agyeman Badu said ICTs should be used to boost the country’s development as a whole.
He called on GTUC graduates to use their ICT tools and entrepreneurial skills to create job opportunities.
