UCC runs ICT training in Arua

By BiztechAfrica - May 15, 2012, 11:40 a.m.200 people have undergone basic ICT literacy training in Uganda’s Arua region.
The ten-day training course, hosted by the Uganda Communications Commission, benefited students, entrepreneurs, religious leaders and councillors.
The exercise was aimed at empowering the community with ICT and entrepreneurial skills for self-sustainability.
The participants acquired skills in networking, internet use, managing ICT laboratories, CD burning, common applications and common ICT business products.
