Twitter has hiccup

The site apologised for the problem and directs users to a news page, which stated: “Users may be experiencing issues accessing Twitter. Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue.”
Millions of users around the world were unable to access the for several hours today, with many claiming the Olympic Games had caused a surge in traffic, bringing the site down.
