By BiztechAfrica - Sept. 22, 2012, 10:25 a.m.Airtel Nigeria, Nokia and the Pearson Foundation are training primary school teachers in Lagos State to use wireless technologies to enhance teaching of mathematics.
The project, which is named BridgeIT, is a multi-sector partnership by the three organizations, combining familiar mobile products and existing wireless technologies to deliver educational programs to teachers and students who otherwise would not have access to some materials.
Nokia, Pearson and Airtel signed an MoU with Lagos State last year to improve the use of ICTs in schools in the state.
