Stakeholders invited to comment on Ghana digital TV

By BiztechAfrica - Oct. 30, 2011, 8:08 a.m.The Ghana National Communications Authority (NCA) has invited comment from relevant stakeholders on the process of migrating to digital TV.
The NCA also invites proposals and offers from eligible entities registered under the Ghana Companies Code 1.
The NCA said in a statement: “The Authority hereby invites views and comments from Existing and Prospective Broadcasting industry players; consumers of broadcasting and communications services and the General Public on the Selection and Award Procedure for Digital Terrestrial Pay Television Network Licenses.”
The Authority invites written views and comments on the Selection and Award Procedure Document, which can be accessed on the Authority’s website, www.nca.org.gh.
The public consultation begins with immediate effect and shall expire on 5pm on 11th November, 2011.
All responses/comments should be electronically transmitted as e-mail attachments, in Microsoft Word format to secretariat.dbmc@nca.org.gh
