Seacom not affected by Gulf of Aden breaks

The cable problems affecting EASSy in the Gulf of Aden have not impacted on Seacom, says the undersea cable operator.
Seacom said in a brief statement that its network was not experiencing any cable outages or international connectivity disruptions as a result of multiple cable cuts currently affecting other providers and carriers in the Gulf of Aden.
EASSy is reported to be grappling with three cable breaks in the Gulf of Aden. Repair operations are underway.
