SAP Forum opens in Nairobi on Wednesday

By Semaj Itosno, Nairobi, Kenya

Nairobi will on Wednesday July 18 host the SAP Forum Nairobi, the annual business information event for Executives, Business decision makers, and Business managers.

Agenda topics will include Solutions for Public Sector (Central and Local Government); Business Solutions for Financial Services (Banking and Insurance Solutions for Manufacturing and Distribution Industries) and Business Solutions for Utility providers (electricity, water, waste etc) and Business Solutions for Smaller Enterprises.

Speaking during a pre-event media briefing on Monday, Agnes Gathaiya SAP East Africa's enterprise director said that in addition to focused presentations and demos that give an in-depth look into the latest technologies, SAP applications and best practices, the forum will offer updates on SAP's global strategy combined with local priorities.

"It is also an excellent opportunity to network with SAP executives, thought leaders, product experts, and partners from the SAP ecosystem. The one-day session will kick off with a keynote from Dr Bitange Ndemo, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Communication and a Motivational talk from Carol Musyoka, Managing Director of Musyoka Consulting who has over 10 years of financial leadership and legal experience," said Ms Gathaya.

There will also be a SAP customer testimonial success story from Vimal Shah Bidco Group CEO and Kipkurui Langat, the CEO of New Kenya Cooperative Creameries.
