Safaricom passes 300,000 facebook fans
Kenya’s Safaricom now has over 306,000 fans on its facebook page.
The telco interacts regularly with its customers via social media, and was recently named by Socialbakers as one of the world’s most ‘Socially Devoted Brands’ for its levels of communication with customers on facebook and Twitter.
Socialbakers ranked Safaricom fourth in the world for its response time (72 minutes) and response rate (72.29%) to questions on its facebook page. It was ranked second on its Twitter response time (58 minutes) and rate (75.48%).
