Pledges in support of Rwanda’s new development fund have passed the R17 billion RwF mark as the government’s awareness campaign gains momentum.
The Agaciro Fund (AgDF) is a national campaign to gather voluntary donations to help deliver on Vision 2020. Rwandans themselves will be consulted on which development priorities will be financed by the fund.
The campaign was launched by President Paul Kagame recently, aiming to start a massive mobilisation by top government officials, and calling on Rwandans around the world to support the fund.
