Rlg heads to US for OEM summit

By BiztechAfrica - Oct. 4, 2012, 9:10 a.m.Two delegates from Ghanaian computer assembly company rlg Communications will head to Microsoft’s offices in the US this month, for the Executive Meeting of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).
The meeting, later this month, is expected to bring together OEM companies worldwide holding partnership status with Microsoft.
rlg Corporate Affairs Manager Emmanuel J.K Arthur said the company's Chief Operating Officer for West Africa, David Afugani and the Group Head of Information Technology, Paul Akonnor, will attend the three-day meeting.
Discussions are expected to centre on technical and operational areas of mutual interest to both Microsoft and the named OEMs.
Rlg became a Microsoft certified OEM in August this year, which enables rlg products to run on Microsoft's operating system.
