Anthony Onwujekwe, who is facing charges of illegally producing and selling copyrighted materials, was granted bail in the High Court in Lagos yesterday.
He was charged with producing, possessing and selling about 100,000 copies of musical works, sound recordings and films in various formats.
Moments after being granted bail, he was rearrested on new charges brought by the Nigerian Copyright Commission.
The NCC said the arrest stemmed from a new set of complaints against Onwujekwe.
