Nigeria’s Ekiti State goes digital
Ekiti State aims to become an ICT haven, says its governor.
Outlining a range of new digital projects, the state governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, said his state was embarking on a range of projects to improve the state’s website to allow for more public interaction.
He noted that Ekiti State had also deployed ICT in the areas of biometrics payroll system and e-payment system.
It was rolling out laptops for secondary school students and implementing internet access for students at Ekiti State University (EKSU) among other development projects, he said.
