VALUE ADDED SERVICES
By BiztechAfrica - Dec. 20, 2012, 9:22 a.m.Nigerian commuters can now book taxis online or with their mobile phones.
A new booking service, TaxiPark, has officially launched in Lagos, after several months of testing. Described as Nigeria’s first online taxi booking service, TaxiPark is powered by iShack.
TaxiPark also allows taxi operators to manage their fleets more effectively. TaxiPark’s Cloud Console helps manage and control the fleet and connects taxis to more customers.
TaxiPark provides customers with a self-service taxi booking website and mobile app, giving commuters access to relevant maps, transport costs and thousands of taxis in Lagos and allowing taxi companies to process more calls.
