Nigerian Broadband Forum this week

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) will host a Broadband Forum for stakeholders in Lagos this week.
NCC says the event, part of the consultative regulatory process, is pleased to invite stakeholders to the Nigeria Broadband Forum with the theme “Demand as Catalyst for Broadband Services in Nigeria”.
The event will look at economic and regulatory approaches to ubiquitous broadband infrastructure and services, funding options and strategies for the deployment of broadband infrastructure and services, sustaining competition in a broadband market and technologies to support deployment of broadband infrastructure and services.
The guests of honour will include the Minister of Communications Technology, Omobola Johnson, and the Secretary-General of International Telecommunication Union, Dr. Hamadoun Toure.
The event will he held on Thursday, July 26, at the Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
