New online academy delivers free learning

The new GAPS Academy, launched this month, was driven by Dr Anderson Uvie-Emegbo, one of Africa’s leading digital media and social innovation experts. The academy is described as the first crowd-sourced integrated learning platform, for Africans, by Africans.
It launched with a library of over 3,000 video clips explaining aspects of a range of subjects, from arithmetics and chemistry to economics and management.
Students can access the content for free, while teachers are encouraged to register to contribute to the content.
