New ICT centre for Accra

By BiztechAfrica - March 14, 2012, 11:12 a.m.The Sister Cities Foundation has inaugurated atechnology centre in Accra as part of a three-year, USD7.5 million programme to assist 25 African countries.
Mary Kane, Chief Executive Officer, Sister Cities Foundation inaugurated the Sister Cities Global Technology Centre in Accra . The technology centre is equipped with video conferencing facilities and high speed internet access. It will also serve as a training centre.
The centre is one of 25 projects aimed at alleviating poverty across Africa.
Kane said the Centre would help bridge the technological gap between Africa and the advanced world.
