MTN Zambia in USD65m upgrade

The telco, aiming to rival the country’s largest operator, Airtel, soon, has signed a USD65.8 million loan agreement with Rand Merchant Bank to finance its network improvement.
The upgrade will focus on boosting network coverage, broadband and internet access with a focus on rural connectivity for schools, hospitals and clinics.
