MTN Swaziland expands its mobile money

MTN Swaziland is piloting mobile money partnerships with cooperative societies and micro-lenders, to expand the reach of its mobile money services.
The telco says it will also expand its network to include more banks and mobile money kiosks, as well as partnering with utilities to make mobile payment options available.
MTN’s Head of Mobile Money, Sam Shongwe, says the company is aware of limited access to mobile money in some areas, and aims to play a leading role in the financial inclusion of people across Swaziland.
