MTN Nigeria fires up service improvement

Following quality of service complaints against telecoms operators in the country, MTN says it will invest the money in supporting second- and third-generation technologies, its core network and power generators to run transmission stations
MTN Nigeria has also launched the international version of its teleconferencing solution in the country.
The solution, MTN International e-Presence, is intended to make it possible for users to do business beyond borders in a cost-effective manner.
MTN Nigeria spokesman Akinwale Goodluck said the company had invested USD1 billion on network infrastructure in 2011 too. The company has more than 40 million subscribers in Nigeria.
