MTC defends 4G

Namibia’s MTC has defended the quality of its newly-launched 4G services, saying over 1000 subscribers are now using the service.
This follows reports that the service was erratic.
MTC Chief Human Capital and Corporate Affairs Officer Tim Ekandjo said the claims “were in total contradiction of the excellent performance delivered by 4G.”
He said customers now using 4G were giving very positive feedback about the service and the data speeds it delivered.
MTC says the customers are now using on average around 1.6 gigabytes of data a day.
