Mozambique e-learning workshop underway

By BiztechAfrica - May 29, 2012, 9 a.m.Mozambique’s National Communications Institute, in partnership with the ITU, is staging a workshop on for e-learning through the Centres of Excellence on ICTs programme.
The ‘Train the Trainers’ workshop on ''Designing and Delivering E-learning'' is currently underway in Maputo, under the aegis of the ITU Centres of Excellence Network for Portuguese and Spanish speaking countries in Africa, and is hosted by the Instituto de Formação das Telecomunicações (IFT) TDM training centre.
The workshop aims to help trainers to design and deliver distance learning modules. It focuses on how to transform existing face to face material into e-learning modules and how to support the delivery of these modules over the internet.
The workshop introduces participants to the different online Learning Management Systems, and pays particular attention to the Moodle open source platform.
