Ministry urges more internet control

By BiztechAfrica - Sept. 12, 2012, 10:33 a.m.Zambia’s Information Ministry has called for more stringent measures to curb the abuse of internet services.
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services, Amos Malupenga, said the government was concerned about internet abuse by those who were using it to promote hate and corrupt morals.
He called in the regulator, the Zambia Information Communication and Technology Authority (ZICTA), to clamp down on this form of abuse.
