MCB plans M-Pesa services

By BiztechAfrica - July 21, 2012, 8:48 a.m.Tanzania’s Mwanga Community Bank (MCB) will partner with Vodacom Tanzania to launch M-Pesa services for customers.
MCB MD Abby Ghuhia says the agreement, to be signed with Vodacom, will take financial inclusion to the surrounding community, as the bank expands its services.
MCB is also readying to join the Umoja Switch ATM network to allow customers to transact on ATMs across the country, and is an agent for Tigo-Pesa.
