Maker Faire coming to Lagos

By BiztechAfrica - July 9, 2012, 2:46 p.m.Maker Faire, an annual pan-African gathering of innovators, will be staged in Lagos, Nigeria, later this year.
The event, held in Egypt last year, is designed to celebrate African ingenuity, innovation and creativity.
Innovators, entrepreneurs and inventors will gather at the event for three days of networking, workshops and information sharing, with a view to improving their businesses and promoting a ‘maker’ mentality in Africa.
Dates and venue will be announced in coming few weeks. Applications to exhibit and attend workshops will open shortly after.
